The new “extra large” edition of ®Nova travels to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to take over two breath-taking venues simultaneously; Fundação Casa França-Brasil and Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage. Six weeks nonstop on March and April 2011 presenting live collaborated “work-in-progress” processes by more tha 130 selected artists from around the world, featuring live music & audiovisuals; live performances, video screenings, outdoor art installations, round tables, experimental gastronomy, artist presentations, and many unpredictable social consequences. Serious art fun. Only for the happy, the gifted, the curious and the open minded.

Directed by Isaac Niemand, and produced by ROJO® in collaboration with BossaNovaFilms, it was all filmed on the heat of live action at ®Nova Contemporary Culture which happened in July and August 2010, in the Museum of Image and Sound, São Paulo, Brazil.
